Frequently Asked Questions

  • Are Phone & Zoom Readings as accurate at In-Person Readings?
    This is probably one of the most frequent questions that Clients ask me regarding my consultations. In the 20+ years I’ve been doing Phone Readings, I’ve personally found that both types of Readings are identical as far as accuracy is concerned. Phone Readings (or Zoom) Readings work the same exact way as In-Person one, except I'm tuning into your Voice Vibration with the use of technology. These types of readings have been a wonderful addition to my business, and I work with clients Nationally and Internationally on a daily basis.
  • How do I pay for my Appointments that are by Phone or Zoom?
    Payment is due at least 60 minutes prior to the Phone or Zoom Appointments. You will receive an invoice from my Square account on the MONDAY before your appointment. If the reading is not paid at least 60 minutes prior, the appointment is automatically canceled. If you wish to reschedule you will be asked to pre-pay for your session beforehand. All payments made are final.
  • Do you have a waiting list?
    Yes, however I rarely receive cancellations and often am not able to pull from the list. If you are interested in being placed on a waiting list, you are welcome to email Kelly at kelly@kellymballard.com.
  • I submitted a 2BQ a few days ago, when can I expect to get a response?
    This is one of my most popular services and I receive a large quantity weekly! Because of that, it is taking me the full 7 business days (business days = M thru F and does include any holidays that many pop up during that M thru F schedule) to go through these special readings. Your 7 business days window starts when I receive payment AND your filled out google form with your questions. I’ll email you back a recorded response full of detailed, meaty, fine-tuned insights from Spirit (mp3 format) within 7 business days of receipt of questions/payment.
  • How do I meet with you for my Phone Reading, Zoom Reading or Virtual Energy Work?
    For Phone Readings: once your appointment is confirmed, I will call you at the phone number you provide me for the reading. If you are meeting with me via Zoom, you will receive a link 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
  • How to prepare for a Mediumship Reading with Kelly?
    To make the most out of your appointment, here are a few suggestions from my clients from over the years on how they felt they could best prepare for a reading with me: Be open minded and try to relax! (Listen…I LOVE the work that I get to do, and there is nothing that gives me more joy than supporting YOU in making a connection with a loved-one or giving you inspiration and guidance from Spirit to live your best life. The more open and receptive you are, the better; what makes a successful reading are you being open, me being open, and a great connection with Spirit!) Come prepared with a list of questions that you would like answers/validation to, confirmations about, etc. Your questions can be about yourself, family members, or friends and can cover a variety of "life" topics. If it makes you feel supported to bring pictures of your people - bring pictures! Kelly can tune into the living and the deceased, as well as pets! The pictures do not have to be recent and they can be printed off the computer or black/white. Pictures are helpful, but not necessary to still tune into a living or deceased individual.
  • How do I pay for my In-Person appointments?
    Payment is due at the time of the session for all In-Person Appointments -- credit cards, cash, or checks are all accepted. There is a $25 fee assessed for any returned check. All payments made are final.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    Out of courtesy to other clients waiting to get in for an appointment, if you need to CANCEL your session please kindly do so within 24 hours of your appointment or you will be invoiced in full for your missed appointment. Your appointment time will be held for a maximum of 15 minutes. If, for whatever reason, you are delayed beyond that - then your appointment will need to be rescheduled. If you have prepaid and miss your appointment, please note that the pre-payment or gift certificate for the full amount of your service will be applied toward the missed-appointment fee. If you are a "no-show" for your appointment, you will also be charged a missed-appointment fee for the full amount of service booked.
  • Is Virtual Energy Work as effective as In-Person Energy Work?
    Absolutely - I have so many clients that I’ve only connected with virtually! Healing work is all about being present in and open to energy - whether you are with me in person or at a distance, I’ll connect in with your energy to create a healing session that is unique to you and the work that we’ll do together. On the date/time that your appointment has been scheduled, I will call you at the number you provided; we’ll do an intake together to set intentions and goals for your session and assess how your energy is. Once complete, we’ll hang up and I’ll begin to work on your energy. I’ll call you back toward the end of the session to debrief on what I worked on and give you any energetic “homework” to work on.
